Never having played a round of golf in Missouri, I had to do some research to be able to tell what courses to visit. Although, after reading some trusty golfing websites I have realized that whether you’re in Saint Louis, Kansas City, Springfield, or any other surrounding cities, your bound to play on a great course.

In the Saint Louis area check out Tapawingo National Golf Club. This place has three championship nines designed to allow the golfer to play at their own skill level. With twenty-seven championship holes surrounded by rivers, lakes and hardwood forests provides the ultimate golf experience.

In the Kansas City area check out Hillcrest Country Club. This course is one of Kansas City’s most historical golf courses, originally designed by the famous Scottish course designer, Donald Ross, in 1916. The championship course offers challenging play in a nonresidential setting of rolling hills, mature trees and lush turf. Since there are no subdivisions or other outside interferences bordering our fairways, you will find a quiet and peaceful environment with wildlife still wandering out to visit.

In the Springfield area check out Rivercut Golf Course. With tree-lined meadows, rolling hills, and multiple water features, all of the needed elements to build a premier golf course were in place. Supported by the areas desire to create a municipal course that rivals top country club courses, Rivercut’s 7,000-yard, par-72 course is welcomed by even the most avid golfer. The course was designed by Ken Dye, and is noted in Golf Digest’s “One Hundred Greatest Courses.” The course offers the perfect combination of terrain and setting.
